What Neck looks best?

Isnt that green strat A contemporary strat? I have the same thing (swapped for floyd)
But aside from the paint its the same guitar. And what ya want for the Dean Bel aire body?
(the orange burst one in the second set of photos.)

Well my buddy bought it off ebay and the guy was from Japan - he called it a Boxster. So I'm not sure. Fatstrat what's your opinion on it?

I thought the journeyman from that time period had 24 frets and didn't have a locking nut.

I'm not sure - here's a pic of the guitar that neck came off.

Is that the same neck? the one in your picture shows a regular nut and is the korean version(far spaced 12th fret markers). the one he is showing has a locking nut and looks qtrsawn.:think:

that's what I was thinking. maybe joe meant it is from this series, or body style? and not that exact model?

was it a pain in the ass making a floyd work on the body? i prefer floyds, but i dont want to ruin the graphic by drilling, and plugging holes. aslo the fender trem works fine so far. it isnt even locked down at the nut and it still stays in tune!

Well probably just similar. I know the body had been attacked with a router and I didn't want it so I got just the neck and left the body. So I know a lot of the details of the entire guitar.

But I didn't add the locking nut which looked factory to me. I just thinned out/screwed up the back of the neck LOL! But do you like the feel of it now?

it plays fuckin awesome! i'll upload pics of the finished guitar. I installed a floyd rose to a V body and put that neck on it. it really plays great!

sure! I built it just for the kids to mess around with. but they have shitloads of guitars to pick from. lol.
