05/06 SD 2hum floyd Maple

can any of you guys post some pics of some of these sweet guitars, I played one limitedly at music live, and will check them out again next year, they freaking rule.

I'll be wanting maple board with mine, do they cost around £1500-2000 in the uk?

I may end up ordering stateside though due to availabillity....

any pics and info appreciated.

I acquired mine from http://www.oneflightupguitars.com I also have an '06 single hum san dimas in candy blue with a maple board.

the one on the left is my '82 with '86 pointyhead neck.

the one on the right is an '06 ferrari red twin hum, maple.

to me, the new one is MUCH better, smoother, faster than the '82. JMHO

you will LOVE the guitar when you get it.

And I don't need a strathead luckily....

That white single hum I played was really really sweet, didnt get to plug it in hopefully fender will have the time for me to try one next time....

you bastard that is too nice, damm that's more or less setlled then better get saving then for it....

I possibly replace the ofr for a Gotoh one....

and the pickups for swinesheads....

Dammit maple and blue metallic and candy colours rule...

I'm throwing together a frankenstrat, mostly of mighty mite parts it wont have a floyd two point modern trem, and locking tuners...

That should keep me satisfied untill a few months when I can order the charvel....

Then I can Say I own a Charvel!

looks like i'll have to cancel the third Ran custom then...well postpone it.

:-) I'm glad you like them! I do as well....right now,it's hard to pick a favorite. I converted the '82 to a chrome floyd from a gold one originally and tried a few tricks to lower the action. I think it's playing at it's best right now(also dropped the tuning back to Eb after having it higher for a while.)

The newer one's feel faster to me. Again, could be the neck finish. As others have mentioned, they have a satin smooth feel which quickens your time up or down the neck.

Dammit Wan't it soon, it'll probably be around christmas or just after I can afford it....

ohh we'll I'm fairly patient so the wait isnt going to drive me isnane, allthough i'll have my second ran on the way, and my new frankenstrat to keep me occupied.
