Yes, but unless the guy bought them all new and hung onto them, then chances are they came from someone who did play and the beat the crap out of them somewhere along the way. If there werent so many of the same, I might think differently, but the duplications are a dead giveaway IMHO.

I would like more information as well, so I wrote to Willie G. Moseley from 'Vintage Guitar', who is a member of another board I belong to. Often they receive more information, but do not have the space due to run of print contraints. Hopefully he can respond.

I know the collector. I have emailed and spoken with him in the past. He told me that he was a private collector and doesn't sell his stuff or show it off. That might be why we never saw all these...or maybe alot of the are refins or built around necks and plates.
