DJM, I was trying to get the order placed 5 months before the EVHs were even announced. Sorry man, but that had nothing to do with it, either.

EVH things didn't just happen.
I can imagine this was planned way before we could imagine.
Let's say right after the Winter NAMM.

Anything's possible, sure. But, IMHO, it's extremely unlikely that the EVHs - which was probably not a "deal" yet, and was still just being negotiated - had any effect on how J/C was taking custom orders in Feb., etc.

I understand.
I guess I will have to wait my custom for couple months more then.
I ordered mine in Feb and I actually heard that mine was done then again 1 month passed and no sound of arriving.

The same goes to my Big Red.
The order was placed in Jan and again no sign of its coming.

It's a double pain since I am waiting for 2 custom orders.

Well, you should talk to your dealer on the custom order. They'd certainly know best. At least, assuming J/C informs them well. But, from what I was told a couple of months ago, custom orders are taking a year or more again. (...Or should that be "still"? [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ).

From what little I know about the Big Red (...which is very little) and customs, I would guess you see BR well before the custom.

Since Big Red is a part of 30orders, I expect my custom to show up frist.
Who knows... but I need these before the Christmas though..

It already scared me to order a custom Charvel knowing it would take so long.
I am done with it.
I just can't deal with spedning this much money with very limited details of what's going on.
No more ordering a new custom Jackson/Charvel.
I will be just happy with used guitars or Brand like GMW or Suhr.
