Pics when they come up In stores jan 15th. Seems like most of the guesses in the predictions thread were spot on. Was an easy oen to guess this time. Definitely the most innovative custom batch yet, if you can call it innovative. REALLY gassing for the hum single single san dimas.

OK, I'll bite. How does a HSS layout work with a 3-way toggle switch? :think:

The blue flame looks killer. (...Mike Learn?) Yellow flame, not so much.

Fiesta red w/rosewood and chrome is smokin. Best of the batch, IMHO. Very cool to see them finally doing rosewood boards.

I dig the HSS layout a lot, but IMHO trans finishes on plain alder don't work without a burst and chrome/gold hardware. If it were 3-tone burst, cherry sunburst, or even tobacco burst, it might be the best one of all.

Totally in for the HSS. However, as Shreddermon mentioned above, I don't really get why they decided to go with a 3 way toggle instead of a 5 switch blade. I guess you can only use a pick up at a time. :-(

Also agree with the rather unfortunate color choice. As much as I love my pagan gold So-Cal, the HSS's finosh looks like beer (if not pee) in the video.

I think the yellow flame up is not too exciting.

I am way not excited about this batch.

I like the 1 hum chrome concept alot, but the color does not do much for me in that video. perhaps the pics will be better. personally, I think they goofed this, the 1 hum chrome should have been that seasick robin egg blue color from batch 6.

maybe its just me..? but im so dissapointed with the turnout :/
i think its awesome that theyre making rosewood now, and single hums.. but theyre not putting those new features to their best potential, when i first seen that HSS i just thought IMPORT JACKSON. cause thats what it looks like:/
I'd love to see a Natural san dimas so i could paint it whatever colour i wanted!
