That Rhoads looks really strange...
seems like there are black bevels around the yellow bevels, so it looks smaller.

And the yellow bevels are way to big for my taste.

Well, when only judging the photos I think that guitar doesn't look good at all. Especially the headstock... [img]graemlins/fart.gif[/img]

He's playing ESPs because Jackson f**ked
him over, plain and simple. The ESP is
a Rhoads style because that's what Alexi wants and is used to. It doesn't look that much worse than a real RR, and it would've BEEN a real RR if FMIC hadn't dropped the ball. For those who b!tched
in past that he shouldn't get to pass the waiting list - yeah, and I guess Tiger Woods should have to wait behind your weekend warrior a$$ to get a new set of clubs too, huh? Pros should come first.
Anything else is stupid for a business.

Time to get over it. The way things are going, ESP is the top metal guitar company and Ibanez is just top overall.
Jackson just keeps getting sold because
it ignores basic marketing realities.
Today Fender owns it - tomorrow, Samick? Hondo? Silvertone? Don't laugh, Jackson
and Hondo have already shared ownership before!

Want to sell guitars? You need to endorse popular artists and bands. To get them, you have to pay somewhat competitively. Nothing evil or cheating or sellout about it; just evident fact.

and I don't think it looks TOO bad...just scrap the bevels and I think it's pretty good.

I acutally don't think its too terrible either. Except for the fugly yellow. They shouldn't have even bothered with that. It looks lik ea bumblebee with down syndrome.

the original is way better. But I really don't htink Alexi cares, he still kicks ass.

I would agree that whoever is in charge of Artist Relations right now needs to figure out what is going on before they lose the rest of their endorsees. This doesn't change the fact that I still want a Jackson but in a business sense, yes they have already lost some main people. hopefully that means lower prices!
