This is the guitar that I use for "Iron Maiden", the last song before heading into the first "encore" with my three-piece-rehearsal-room-Maiden-cover-band Prowler. Great for carefree Janick Gers style cabinet humping, throwing up and sometimes not catching and good old fashioned Dave Murray circa 1983 smashing.

Sorry for the thread resurrection, but once again, I've stumbled upon yet another cool picture of the multi-control Jackson Strat (Strat with squared edges?) in Adrian's arsenal. The page is out of a magazine imported or something. Found it on Ebay.

-Jackson, white body with black pickguard, H/S/H pickups, maple board. Appears in the "Maiden England" DVD as his main guitar.


-Jackson, white body, a million knobs, H/S/H pickups and syth, maple board. Appears in the "Stranger In A Strange Land" video.

Either he has another SD Charvel, or that one has also had black hardware at one point or another.....(pics in the 'What are we doing this for' book from around 1987)

Yeah, but that's Dave's wine red guitar with black pickguard, H/S/H configuration, around the "No Prayer" era. So I guess it's a total of four Stratheads for Iron Maiden total, three of which are Adrian's and the remaining one being Dave's. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Dave Murray had at least one (if not two) white strathead Jacksons as well (I think with the small logo), so I reckon they had:
White w black pickguard (AS)
White w synth (AS)
Dark SD Charvel chrome h/w (AS)
Dark SD Charvel black h/w (AS)
Red w black pickguard (DM)
White w white pickguard h/s/h (DM)
White w pearloid pickguard s/s/s (DM)
Mind you, DMs white guitar could be the same one with a different pickguard setup, as with AS' SD charvel possibly with a hardware swap.
Just my thoughts though!
