His left hand freaks me out when he plays. I know technically it's in the perfect classical position but something just seems weird about it. I guess because I'm a hang my thumb over the top guy.

He spoke about that at his clinics he did recently, saying it was a great tip for beginners to be able to solo better. I tried it when I went home and I've ended up playing like that myself all the time now without meaning it. I can't stop myself now. I'm not playing any better, but that's probably because I'm a 34 year old guy who has started playing a totally different way - I've no doubt I'll get used to it and be fucking awesome.
