I had the chance to see them recently but I passed. I just did not want to pay money to see Don's shitty voice, and be dissappointed. No Jeff, No George, and Don's bad voice = I am not going.

Seeing it is one thing. Hearing it is another nightmare.

Eh, it sounds like something a drunk Dutchman would say!

Was too early in the week to be drunk, never too early to be Dutch though

I could tell he was aware of his god aweful voice because between every song he would ask the crowd if everything was alright.
I knew exactly what he meant.

That just sounds awkward...like losing your virginity on Prom night awkward. They weren't that bad when I saw them, but that was 10 years ago.

That reminds me of when I saw Slaughter open for Poison back on the Power to The People Tour at Tinley Park in Chicago. They were the first of four (Slaughter, Dokken w/ Reb Beach, Cinderella, then Poison). There were hardly any people there to see Slaughter and Mark sounded like hell. Don wasn't quite as bad...he was struggling and he sat most of the show (I think he had broken something...) but it was pretty good. Cinderella was fantastic though, way better than I ever expected them to be. They did "Heartbreak Station" and Fred Coury played violin. It was awesome.

Sounds like when I saw Whitesnake last spring...Coverdale picked a few moments to shine then let the crowd sing most of the old material. Weak.

Hmm...I saw that Whitesnake concert they released on dvd from the Hammersmith Apollo with Reb Beach, Doug Aldrich, and Tommy Aldridge. I couldn't believe how much that rocked.
