Hi guys I own Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar and I was just wondering if anybody remembers if thats the book everyone went on about on the Megadeth forum n metal forum in general as being THE Holy Grail book to learning Metal Lead?

Yep thats the one. I'm surprised that there isn't anything newer around - I studied that one vigourously in the early 90's.

It's not a bad thing to the non-guitarist, fools a lot of people since it rocks.
But I want to SHRED sometimes!
Honestly my abilities run at the KK Downing/Glenn Tipton level.
I know a lot of the theory and technique, but fail to be able to execute with speed.
