Hows my Snare Level?!?!?

Hi guys, ive been struggling lately with my snare tone. I've been hearing htat it's too loud, and when I toss on my limiter, the snare seems to be really hammering it, while the rest of the mix is hiding behind it. im a drummer myself and the snare sound needs to be dropped just a little but not too much, it shouldnt over power the vocals

Put some reverb on it - the more reverb there is the further back in the mix it will go.
