Hey this reply might be a little late, but I gotta say it loud: WONDERFUL!!!

Really. It's got great great sense of melody, emotion and tone. However, I don't know if it's a demo to be worked on, but this song could be developed further, like a theme variation if you know what I'm talking about.

Still, it's incredible! Really like your tone!!

thank you...if you're into recording...head to the pinned topic at the top...i did some backing tracks in mp3 for all the jcfer's to solo over...they're called jcf contributions...i'll find some other older pieces (recording quality will vary GREATLY )...and post them soon...d.m.

btw if you're really interested you might want to check out my band Devane at www.devanenet.com...there are some mp3's there as well...

          Wow very nice.

Reminds me of melodeath bands like In Flames\edge of sanity etc....

Was that what you were aiming for?

You could develop that into: lengthen the acoustic intro and then have the heavy guitars play for longer, with some vocals or maybe a simpler atmospheric guitar melody (or that orchestrated keyboard type line maybe) then have a middle few mins where everything gos faster & heavier with a catchy (hummable even!) twin guitar harmony (no solo, do a whole band type thing) which builds and builds... then suddenly bring it back to mellow again with this as an awesome long outro.

Theres yer next uber good 10min melodic progressive metal\hard rock style song!!

Just an idea of what id try and do if i could play and write music like this!

Awesome work, lets have some more!

D.m.: Thanks alot! I'll definitely try out those baktrax!

By the way, when I listened to this track again, it kind of reminds me of Evergrey. But I like your solo a lot better. It has a real feeling and not just an a pile of "sad notes" lumped together (coughevergreycoughcough) .
