  • acoustic song for funeral

Here's a brief clip of an arrangement I found for amazing grace. Played it through a verse one time - guild D4 direct to my PC, few effects added in Adobe Audition. Not exactly the music I usually play, but it's getting smoother:

My wife's grandmother passed away, and apparently she had it in her living will or papers that she wanted it played at her funeral. So, with two days notice... I cobbled the above up. I'll probably just play it as above with a few variations 4 times. I hate funerals, but she was a terrific lady.

Nice job man, not to be a dick but maybe a tad slower tempo? Sorry about your loss.

Thanks... I practiced it fast so I can play it smoother slowly, if that makes sense.

Great job on the song. Grandma would have loved it.

nice arrangement and voicing Pete..., its tastefully done. I would practice it up a little more for comfort polish and I'm sure it'll be appreciated greatly.

Sorry to hear of the loss. My condolences.
