  • First try...

Hey guys, this is my first shot at recording a track. I recorded a backing track for myself and then just totally improv'd on the whole thing. I thought it wasn't so bad, but i'll let you judge. Please don't spare my feelings, I want some negativity to see where I'm going wrong.

I used a Jackson JS30RR for the whole thing. I ran that through a Line 6 Spider II. I recorded it all using a microphone on a headset lol.

Not bad sounding at all! Pretty clean for a mic on a headset.

What did you use for the orchestral sounds?

Spider II's a pretty killer little amp huh? I love mine!

All the weird ambience stuff came out of my computer. My soundblaster sound card came with a MIDI on-screen piano/keyboard that i play using the A to L keys on my computer keyboard. Yeah, Spider II is amazing.
