Thanks all
I just threw that together after a few minutes of practicing the lines

I used the IPS33 harmonizer on the chords, which tracks a lot better than the H3000 I had.

I've been looking for a good harmonizer. How do you like that one and where did you get it? I can't find much about it.

Re: Happy New Year

Found it on Ebay a few weeks ago. Just keep searching "IPS33" and "Digitech IPS" in Musical Instruments (be sure to use the quotes to limit the search results only to items bearing "Digitech IPS" or "IPS33" and to filter out every other Digitech product)

I like it better than the Eventide H3000 I had. The H3000 had this insane intonation requirement - almost like it was specifically tailored for MIDI or a synth rather than a guitar. Even running straight into the unit with nothing in front of it or after it, it simply would not hold the harmony in a scale without warbling.

The IPS33 did it with no trouble. Maybe I just had a bum H3K, I dunno, but I just didn't get along with it.

Do you know of any decent harmonizer plug-ins?

Re: Happy New Year

I think Eventide has the market sewn up for TDM plugins.
