Em, I gave you the station that would play your stuff, you should really give it a try. They ask for local and Texas made music all of the time. They want the artists to be heard.

Wow what great singing! the recording is great too, my only suggestion would be that you might try running the vox through a bit more compression to tame the levels a bit. Your voice is very expressive and that can be tough to capture.

I do go through vocal compressor but have not yet found the best tweakage for me.

I hear these tracks over and over and oftentimes miss things, so I appreciate your feedback very much.
