Has anyone ever used em? What do you all think? I am trying to learn Reason 3.0 nd want a dedicatd PC for it... so I have something else to collect dust [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]

I built that one just now in their configurator - subtract $315 cuz I accidentally added a second 400GB drive (wouldn't need it) for a total of $2,413.
Seems kinda high but then again it does have 4GB of RAM [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Not sure if I'd need the 4x4 MIDI interface. I've got the gear to run it but probably not the software.

well, the atomic underground free memory and hard drive operation has been in business for a while now. just gotta catch me at the right time when i have stuff on the shelf.

why not just get a mac mini, use garagband, spend a few hundered on midi crap or whatever you want and save about 1500?

I use Sonar 4 PE and having a dedicated second HDD really lessens the CPU strain. I just installed it yeasterday and this PC has so much media/video adn aotio and portable device bays I had to remove the floppy disk drive because I dodnt have any place to put it

I don't have a PC dedicated just for DAW, and frankly I don't see the need unless I was doing sonar studio grap for a job [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
