alright i own an alesis sr-16 drum machine..am i am finally figureing it out..except for one thing. how the **** do you save drum patterns on it? can you? if i shut off the machine everything i worked on is gone. and theres no way in hell i can get an entire songs drums done in one night.weve been using guitar tracks pro for recording...and putting the drum patterns on that...but it just seems like there is a better way to do this..... what do you guys recomend for some recording software that includes a drum sequencer?...i think it would just make things a load easier.. ....any opinions?

I'm no expert on this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that there are VST virtual drum machine programs that should be compatible with Guitar Tracks Pro, depending on which version you're running. Steinberg LM4 MKII is one that I know of, but there may be shareware or freeware ones you could try.
