Automotive DIY FAIL

OK, I know the phrase Epic Fail is being overused now and is probably no longer cool, but check out these home-made disasters:

Most of them are DIY lift kits and turbo installs, some of them I don't know why they're funny (Hey, I don't work on my vehicles anymore)

On some of this stuff, I wonder if it was just someone being a smart ass. I can't imagine too many people have the cash to dump on a $1100 turbo, yet, have no clue whatsoever what they are doing. Kinda like the gag where the guy welded his entire ring and pinion together. -Lou

Depends on the turbo. If they sourced the turbo from a junkyard donor car and adapted it to another application, some "installations" can get rather "creative"
