  • Concert photography article.

Ran across this in my e-travels and thought I'd share. There is some nice shots in there.

Is it just me or has Don Dokken had Joan Rivers amounts of facial plastique applied?

that's really interesting. Really easy to apply to more than just concert photography. Bookmarked as soon as I opened the link!

The toughest part is getting permission to shoot the concert in the first place. I have no connections so I can't do it except at NAMM. At NAMM the stage lighting is not quite as strong as full blown concerts so I usually end up have to open up the lens aperture pretty much wide open to shoot with no flash. I put the camera/lens on a monopod too. I'll post some stuff I shot of Satriani and Gilbert from NAMM 08 and 09 later
