  • Are You A SLACKER?

It's a new day for me.
I was searching for a free online radio with kickass music and
    good sound.
I happened to come across http://www.slacker.com
Brothers and Sisters check this site out.
I was at work today playing Metal tunes from this site on the work computer
and everybody was coming in and saying "What site is that?"
Next thing you know 15 people are standing around me digging all
    the tunes.
I haven't even read what there trying to sell, who cares.
The music is great... and free.
    Finn
p.s. I have no connection to this site what so ever.
    just great music!
I did a search here and found nothing on the subject.

yea, click rock, a folder opens and you pick metal or 80's rock or 90's rock.
      explore some more...you'll see..
      I'm listening to Testament now.
      once open you will see
      "Artists on this site"
      pick your fav and enjoy.

It's pretty cool. Kinda hard to navigate. You should check out Pandora.com. Same principal, I just find it easier to get along with

          Thanks
I saw that one to, but I happened to click on Slacker first.
I'll give it a try but I'm love"n this one. I find it easy to nav.
I registered on slacker and navigating got easier.
Good info on the band playing by clicking the album cover a few times.
I subscribe to Sirius and they will start charging for
          their online listening in March.
          That's why I started searching.

Nice one! I'll be listening to it tomorrow at work. I outgrew Pandora. Somehow, it seems to be playing too much of the same type of music. Not enough variety. Winamp + shoutcast is still the best IMO. Gotham radio, snakenetmetalradio, etc. are great stations on shoutcast.

Slacker radio has too many horns going on for me.
