  • Is Google Working For You?

For every search I've done today, I get a link under each result that says "This site may harm your computer". To test it, I search for JCF, Google, etc. and still get that message. When I click on any of the search results, it redirects me to a warning page that won't let me get to where i want to go. The only way I can use Google is to copy & paste the links. Is anyone else noticing this, or can you do a quick check & let me know? I checked one site that says Google is trying to implement this warning system, and that it may be screwed up, but I'm trying to rule out a malware infection or something like that.

I've seen this on several occasions today, several, but not all.

Thanks, Pat. I just checked Twitter and a couple news sites and looks like it's them. Some people are already freaking out.

        I just got it.
I thought it was a virus itself...

I just did a system restore to three days ago and now it works normally.
I'm going to do a Windows update and a full scan before I do much else though.

It's working OK now. Looks like it lasted about 45 minutes or so.

It works fine for me. I'm running Norton Internet Security and I run Spybot Search and Destroy regularly.

Sounds like you guys have some malware on your PCs.

Nah, it was them, but it only lasted for a while this morning.
