AC/DC are fuckin' back and rockin! Fuck the new Metallica - gimme a band you can rely on year after fuckin' year!
        This song is awesome!

Sure it's simple. Sure Brian Johnson sounds pretty duff now. Sure Angus can't shred.
But AC/DC are the world's greatest hard rock band and this new song just proves it.

They are so true to themselves...For a time in the early 80's...I think I was their only fan! lol

I taught the Highway to Hell riff to a guy in 9th grade...He went nuts and switched his focus from hockey to music...Still makes a living with it...I showed him the root 5th way of playing it, so when I bumped into him last year I said..."Sorry Bob...I showed you the wrong way" He said..."Thats okay...Malcome showed my the right way!"

He was working at little Mountain studio while AC/DC were there and malcome taught him the correct way!!! Too cool! He even made a parody of the song...Had quite the impact on him...

People who say "AC/DC use the same 3 chords"...and "are simple"...DO NOT know how to play their songs right...They don't use root 5 power chords as much as people think they do...

They have a goove that most people can't nail...Verse riff for "What do ya do for money honey" for example...Love that stuff...

I know that they don't simply rely on power chords... but damn... most of their tunes do sound quite the same.... (staying true to their roots?)

They don't ALL sound the same...Maybe the more well know/played ones...

But "Walk All Over You" "Hells Bells" "Breaking the Rules" "the Jack" and so on...Don't sound like each other...I think each members own sound and style shines through and that has a lot more to do with them sounding "The same ol" to most people...I mean...Bon and/or Brian are unmistakeable as the Youg Brothers are...Phil has such a solid meter and even Cliff has a 8th note bounce thats identifiable...

              Just a thought...

"All their stuff sounds the same". Well, that would be a big issue if they were shit. But since they're not shit, isn't it a good thing that they always sound much the same?
I'd rather a band is consistently brilliant but samey, than a band that wants to "expand" and turn into a steaming pile of shit.

I think Airbourne put them under the gun to make a good, consistent album that doesn't sound tired. AC/DC has needed to do that since the Razor's Edge. Here's hoping they can do it, as this song is pretty good. Brian Johnson's voice is starting to show some serious wear though... still, the rest of the song is fantastic.

Brian sounds better than he has for years. I agree Airbourne are awesome, but AC/DC - they're AC/DC, even a basic Phil Rudd drum beat sounds a million times better than any other cunts drum beat, despite its simplicity!
