  • Phone video 3G2 files, conversion ? EVH Live the other night

I've got Eddies entire guitar solo on my phone. When I transfer the files to my computer from my Motorola KRZR, they are .3g2 files which nothing seems to play. Anybody got an recommendations on how to convert those phone video files to something normal like avi or mpg ?

Yeah, I already spent an hour going that route. All those pages were :

      1. pay for a program or
      2. jump thru 20 hoops or
      3. free and didn't work

Just found out that Apple's Quicktime Version 6.5 and up play these 3G2 files. Just downloaded the lasted 7.0 version and it works fine. Do enough people have a fairly current version of QT to make it worthwhile to post the files ?

For video converting, I use a free program called "Super C"... I think I found out about it from someone on this board. The program can do almost every codec/format you can imagine, so I wouldn't suggest it for beginners.

(scroll down near the bottom and click on Download SUPER © setup file)
