  • bacofoil as an anti-static?

I bought a sound rom (frash rom card) off ebay which normally comes in a plastic anti-static bag. When I opened the jiffy bag, I found the card wrapped in bacofoil. I made this known on feedback, and got a message from the seller stating bacofoil is a good form of anti-static. Is this true? And no, I didn't find any leftovers from his lunch.
    Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

Sounds like a horrible idea, to me.
Wouldn't aluminum foil pick up every stray piece
of static electricity possible, then transfer it to the component?

Wait, let me check my anti-static wraps with an ohm meter.
        I'll be right back.

Damn, sorry, I tossed them all out when I was organizing my garage.
Anyone else have one, and an multimeter to check it with?
