  • which gigbag and stands for the RR guitars?

Peace and Happy New year everyone.

I just got a RR5 and a RR3 Pro in Barcelona Spain when i am recording and when i purchased them from two different music stores neither offered or had a case or gig bag in stock, on top of that to order them will cost 90€ each, that is a Rip Off!

Now i will have to order online from a U.S. dealer sent to my home in NY, then sent to me., but before i decide on this i also want to mention some highly recommended the RockBag for RR Vs., they say it is more safer, now i do not know which to order.

Also i wanted to ask about a guitar stands since i have to order them online, i am looking at tall stands but do not know which ones to getl, i am afraid i will order one and it will not be tall enough etc etc, can anyon please also advise on this ?

    Thanks

    Peace
    Gabriel

I use a Hercules GS412B for my RR1 and highly recommend it.

I got a gig bag from zzounds..works great, gives lots of protection. For much traveling I still prefer my hard case, but his is a lot lighter and easier to manage for sure.

The Hercules GS412B looks great, i just spoke to a bass player who also highly recommends it as well., but you will get a kick from reading this review of it http://www.zzounds.com/item--HERGS414B

i found this company in Europe that sells a gib bag called the rock bag and they say its the thickest at 30mm, i have one for my Les Paul and its very thick., i was wondering if the Jackson Gigbags where also as thick. http://www.musicstore.de/is-bin/INTE...mpTo=OfferList

Which bag did you get at Zsounds?

+1 on the Hercules. A Rhoads will clear the ground perfectly, hanging on one of these:

Nice picture, but is that how you place them on the stand, facing the stand itself?

Also there are 3 models ,
I have no idea what the difference is between the GS414B and the GS12B but i like the dual GS 422B though.

No. The pic was taken in another content.

                  hey guys

i just got a email from someone i ordered a hercules stand from, read this:

Hercules Stands GS 412B Stand for E-Guitar are not recommended for guitars with nitro laquer!

                  I go
t 2 GS 412B, a jackson Gigbag (deluxe), the rockbag you can see in a previous post for my other RR5 guitar, which is 30mm thicker and nicer then the jackson if you ask me), as well as stand from the same
                  company for 3 guitars.

I've got a normal A frame stand which I use for my SL3, but it takes the RR3 fine as well, which surprised me.

Luckily, no one uses nitro except Gibson.

The problem lies in the foam rubber used for padding the part that holds the guitar - it doesn't get along with nitro finishes.

Poly finishes, like Jackson uses, are ok.

The Rockbags are fine. My brother uses one with his RR Pro and it fits ok and has a good amount of padding in it. The case is too big to carry around really.
