What Was Your Favorite New Music Released in 2007?

Now that 2007 is over, I was thinking back on new music releases I bought during the year. And, of those, trying to decide which ones were my favorites.

I think I've gotta say Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience, & Grace.

Yeah, yeah - I know. Not exactly a shredders delight. But it's got some rocking tunes and killer songwriting, IMHO. ...Plus I've got a very short memory.

I really liked Sebastian Bach's Angel Down CD. I can't really think of anything else that I bought new in 2007 that I thought was good. High On Fire's CD maybe.

evile's album was good, but i wouldn't call it favourite, and destructions thrash anthems was rerecordings so that doesn't count as new music. thats actually quite shocking tat i only bought one album of entirely new original music from 2007

Most crushing: Cephalic Carnage - Xenosapien

Bought lots of stuff but keep coming back to these discs.

I know I am the minority here, but I really liked the new Megadeth. I also thought the new King diamond album was great as well. The latest Foo Fighters didn't do anything for me save The Pretender, but maybe I'll give it another listen. I was also pretty disappointed in Seether's newest cd.
