  • Dimebag Darrell/David Allen Coe album "Rebel Meets Rebel"

Just came across this today. Looks like this project was completed before Dimebag's death in 2004. It has Vinnie Paul on drums. The snippets on the site below sounds pretty awesome to me. Enough that I will be going out to get the album.

    Or at their myspace site:

Here is a quick review of the album...

I also see Chris Caffery and Silent Force have new albums coming out if you care. I know I do.

I have this CD & as long as your not expecting to hear Pantera, it rocks very cool stuff on there.

No way I can listen to David Allen Coe sing for more than a nano-second.

lol ... have you listened to the tracks? I thought the same thing but it did not sound anything like the Coe I am used to.

Drake - where did you get the CD. It is not set for release until May.

Yes, I went to myspace and listened to them. I wasn't talking about the singer from Pantera.

BTW, it was released May 2, 2006.

It is all over sirius satelite radio. I have heard many of the tracks on Hard Attack. I like it!

Sukisyn, I think Vinnies new project (w/Mudvayne & Nothingface dudes) "Hell Yeah" is set for release in may.

I bought this album hoping for the best and am seriously disappointed. Dime and Vinnie are crushing and grooving, as I had hoped, but D.A.C. kills this for me.

Nor can I, as I discovered after buying the album last year.

I haven't listened too it all the way through, despite Dime's guitar sounding great.

I too bought the cd when it was released. Although the idea is cool and all that, the album isn't that good really...
