Actually, here's all of the lyrics:

    It's Over Now - Frehley's Comet

You were life and love upon this island
And it was hard but you made it all worthwhile
So afraid that I'm gonna run away
Well if I was, I wouldn't be here today
And you took me by the heart
And showed me where I was
    Deep inside your love

You will never hear me say the words
Never feel the pain that hurts
Never hear me say Its over now

I look at you, and I see that there's a fear
Something's wrong but you're holdin' back your tears
Well here is where I am and where I'll stay
So lose the bad thoughts, push em far away
Hope and dreams will take the shape
    I'm shooting for the stars
    And diamonds for your eyes

You will never hear me say the words
Never feel the pain that hurts
Never hear me say Its over now
Good Lord! The rod up that man's butt must have a rod up its butt!

                  Our first wedding dance

Get this. When I was in my first band, in high school, we got our first paying gig - a wedding. It never occurred to us to learn slow songs. We set up and started playing our set list, e.g., "Flying High Again," "You've Got Another Thing Comin'," "Shout at the Devil," etc. - then someone from the wedding party asks us to play a slow song for the bride and groom to dance to. We did not know ANY slow songs, and we didn't know what the hell to do, so we picked the only song we could think of that at least had some undistorted guitar in it. The Zeppelin classic, "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You."

In our defense, we did play it as an instrumental, without any vocals, to try to avoid offending anyone. We weren't TOTALLY insensitive.

At the end of the dance, they only paid us 1/2 of the agreed-upon fee.

It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll.
