  • slow down programs

Do you know of any internet programs I could download to plug in some downloaded music, but slow the tempo down so that I can play along with it?

There is a program called slow downer on www.ronimusic.com, but it gives me problems when I try to use music that is downloaded instead of using a registered cd.
    Thanks,
    Heather

if you're willing to pay a few bucks, transkriber at http://www.reedkotler.com is a great program. The Guitar One transcribers use that program. I think it's awesome.

My son has some program on his computer where he down loads and can play the song with tab and I think has the ability to slow down.
I'm at work right now and I'll check when I get home to verify but I think it is "ultimate-guitar".
I belive this is a site based in Russia, I know some sites are having trouble with copy rights but apparently not this one.

OK, checked with the boy and it is PowerTab. He said you can download at Download.com or from Ultimate-Guitar.com

              and its free

He uses it all the time and it seems to work ok, he has used it to learn a few songs

I think what she meant wasn't a tab program.

+1 on pacemaker. Used it for years with absolutely no hassles.
