  • Guitar for youngsters

I'm only showing you this because it is the perfect guitar for a starter for the kid and a very good guitar to boot. 7/8 size solid wood body and a very thin neck. This is Korean made in the 80's and I love it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...8959&rd=1&rd=1

Not one of these. These are very well made guitars. Ok. I'll just keep this to myself.

My first guitar. An '83, MIJ. Like you say, awesome as a starter...

I think you'll find that it says "Made in Japan" under the logo...

Throw us the serial number and I'll look up the year.

These Japanese and Korean Bullets and Strats are really good guitars. The small bods and slim neck are perfect for a young one. And if he or she gets bored you can get your money back, if you buy right. I stumbled into a USA Bullet. Those Tele necks sell for big bucks. Look for an "E" serial number. Then there are the JV numbers.

I think I have a case for one of those or is it a mustang or a duo-sonic case hell I don't know.
                  Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Definitely MIJ then. Probably one of the last ones (I believe '87 was the last year). Good stuff.

Well, then why does it say, "Made in Korea" on the headstock? Probably one of those famous "transition" guitars. Regardless, keep your eyes open for these.
