  • What do you play at a wedding?

A mate of mine is getting married and I've been asked to play something whilst everyones sittin' n stuff and when they're signing the papers. Whats some nice jazzy standards or sweet euro stuff I can play? Acoustic that is. I'm way outta my depth, cause all I can think of is a godgory song off way beyond

Either that or grab a satch backing track and rock out....but I dont think thats what they're after!

Jazz standards like "Black Orpheus" and "Begin the Beguine" are laid back, and would sound great on an unaccompanied acoustic guitar.

Those tunes popped in my head, because they're on Tuck Andress's "Reckless Precision" album.

actually....just the guitar from Time:The Beginning by Megadeth. (I know it's off Risk....but it is a cool clean guitar line.)
Transitioning from Retired Musician from cover bands to a Full time vocalist/frontman/guitarist in an original and covers band....it's been a while and this should get NASTY!
