couldn't understand why my internet failed. uninstalled and reinstalled the usb modem, couldn't reinstall the software. why? because some complete utter fuck ripped out the cable on the exterior of the building. the landlord - dodgy fuckhead that he is - had contractors out on saturday. it's obvious one of his goons did it. he can definately stick his tenancy renewal fee up his fucking arse. bastard. its a bullshit admin fee that uk landlords and agencies charge for no purpose at all, apart from.. ripping people off. its a shame i didn't catch the bastard cutting my cable because i'd demand he get sacked, then charge the landlord an 'admin fee' plus any reconnection fees imposed by the provider.

If it's Cat 5 cable (4 pair-8 wire) that's cut just resplice the same color code wires to each other & reconnect using crimp connectors or elec. tape, or if some type of coaxial cable which I doubt, you can cut clean strip the outter shielding braid wire about one inch then 1/2 inch up strip to the inner hard wire & get a screw on RG-6 coaxial connector since you don't probably have crimper for that........I'm a phone guy or you can get into more detail what happened I can take you thru it to re-connect.......... just spoke to the dodgy landlord. he wants me to commit purgery and do all the legwork. i'm wondering if it's time i handed in my notice to leave the property and call the police. i've just rang ntl and the scumbag wants me to be in front of the fucking pc! i've already told him the "ready" led is not lit, the external cabling is severed and the modem is showing as working on my pc's device manager. morons and dodgy bastards. the landlord has even threatened me with ripping out the ntl point and suggested i lie to ntl to get an engineer to recable what he thinks wasn't properly installed. really? it's been there for over a year.

if i had the tools and knowhow, i'd recable it myself. the landlord admitted the bastards ripped out someone else's cable on the same wall too. i'll see what response i get tommorow. if it doesn't get sorted, i'll contact the police, my local citizens advice centre and tell the landlord he can go fuck himself. as far as i'm concerned, he's already lost his bullshit renewal fee. and if he tries to charge me for ending the contract, i'll sue the fucking prick.

The engineer is coming tommorow. The stupid thing is that there is a 5 second delay between callers saying something.Why? Because you get diverted to fucking India every bastard time. I told the advisor that the cable was severed, and he STILL insisted that I be in front of my computer! WANKER. Several times I reminded him that a recabling job is required, but no, Mr-pig-ignorant-brick-wall-arse-munch wouldn't acknowledge that he lacked any common sense at all. I suggested the landlord call to re-itterate it to this moron, and low-and-behold, Mr.Dodgy-rippoff-fucking-twat said he could not discuss my account even though it was HIS contractor that deliberately cut the cable. I phoned again today. It doesn't matter what you tell these idiots... BIG SIGH.. Well suffice to say, if the engineer wants paying, I'll give him the address of the landlord, bastard that he is.

after being fobbed off by fuckhead landlord, broadband is working again. some re-install huh. i spent two days off. first engineer recabled to severed points. next day, other engineer just shoves it into an omni box with is just a small hideous plastic box to stop rust. i'd love to have a pint, but my stomach injury would object to that. i should hopefully be banging an ex-girlfriend tommorow though. i'm not bothered because another girl who's 10 billion times better is coming back in about a week.
