God. I was watching it while it happened on TV. CNBC shot pictures from New Jersey to the NY skyline. I mean, I was watching stock quotes and all of a sudden....
I am a true ass set to this board.

tis funny how that lil clip brought back a lot of emotion from that day. Nothign worse then seeing the pictures of people jumping out. HAving to decide between burnign alive and dying quickly and voluntarily is a decision that I cant even fathom.

I feel even worse for the ones they left behind..that needed and depended on them...their children.

4 years already..those kids got bigger and their dad or mother is not here to see that..

I couldn't watch that. Still too painful.

I vividly remember how that was such a beautiful, crisp clear, late summer/early fall day. Just like today.

A lot of evil was done that day. And even more heroism.

This is something that I'll never forget. It is hard to believe that this was 4 years ago, seems like only yesterday to me. At the time I thought they would have been rebuilt the towers within 4 years, but still a big hole at ground zero

I remember that picture when I got the paper that day. Today's weather is exactly the weather it was on 9/11; crisp, dry, sunny. My stomach bottoms out when I think about it. I almost took a job in the WTC, and I used to walk through it twice everyday to work. A girlfriend of mine (Linda) who later married a fella from Tuxedo Park, NY named Eric Thorpe appeared on TV (CNN) the day after. She was missing her husband. I remember seeing her and thinking that I could have been me.
