      Re: anti-virus

Norton Internet Security/Antivirus, but as soon as my subscription expires at the end of this September, I'm going to go with the free AVG as recommended by several forums I've read.

I use this seldom used product on the Internet called CommonSense™ 1.0. I've been online since the CompuServe and DOS BBS days on a 1200 baud modem and never gotten a virus.

Norton works great!! Yeah, you have to pay for it and continuously update it, but it's worth it.

AVG caught things that Norton didn't for me I highly suggest it

Don't use Norton. It totally hogs down your computer for one thing. Also avoid Panda - it doesn't work worth a damn...after using it for only a few days, parts of it just stopped working (the e-mail scanning feature for instance).

I now use NOD32, and it's probably the best software purchase I've made yet. It's tiny and effiecient - I never even notice it's on until it catches something.

+1 and AVG is still free for personal use.
