• Sad blues?

Recommend me some down/sad blues. I want to be swept away by some sad bluestones, and let it carry me past these POS feelings.
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Already got it on the playlist, Saga. SRV, deep respect.

That'd cost too much, although I'd enjoy a private concert!

Oh man...

The Nirvana version of the Ledbetter song on the live acoutic record is kicking! Never a more anguished sound from a singer (except for the Radiohead song "Creep" which made me want to end Thom York)
I think that song is called "Where did you sleep last night?"

From Clapton's "From the Cradle": Third Degree, Five Long Years, Blues Leave Me Alone, Sinner's Prayer, It Hurts Me Too, Someday After A While, Standin' Round Crying, Groaning the Blues, etc. Have I mentioned that this was just an absolute *killer* album?

Re: Sad blues?

Michael Schenker era UFO has some super sad songs, plenty of blues based MS riffs, and his crying solos, those always made me feel sad/good. check I'm a Loser, Born to Lose, High Flyer, Martian Landscape, etc.

plus on MSG, check the song Systems Failing, off of Built to Destroy, that one always gave me the *sad* douchechills.

no plays sad guitar like Schenker.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives
