Man, we did a show outside. Freaking awesome.
Pretty much, this guys brother died. He's a really awesome guy, so everyone wanted to find the best way to help out. They decided, get a shit load of bands, a shit load of booze, and a shit load of burgers and dogs on the grill. Charge 15 bucks, have all you can eat, all you can drink.
Man, it was great.
We were the first to go up, stage was 6 foot high, off of the ground. Played out in the open, really fucking awesome. At first playing first was like being one of those shitty ozzfest bands that gets stuck playing second stage...no one wants to see them.
We did an hour set, towards the last hour, people were freaking moving. We then did a half hour set inbetween another band setting up and tearing down. A lot better to play later (more people, more drunk people) then I went back up later and played guitar in a little jam.
Long story short, I don't think I ever want to play indoors again!
