• Southwest North Carolina

We're making our 3rd annual vacation pilgrimmage to Shooting Creek, North Carolina next week. That's near Hayesville, NC and Hiawassee, GA fairly close to Chatuge Lake in the Nantahala. We're just looking for some fun stuff to do. I've been on the Appalachian Trail between Wayah Bald and Standing Indian. We've been to Tallulah Falls and Helen, GA. We've been river rafting, antique hunting, and plain ol' driving around. We need some kid friendly ideas for ages 4-7.

Any ideas are welcome! Thanks!

Tweetsie Railroad and Grandfather Mountain are a couple that spring to mind.
My future band shall be known as "One Samich Short Of A Picnic"!

Bring a banjo and learn how to squeal like a pig. It'll make things alot easier on you.
Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.
