In looking at all the cool Mike Learn graphics I was thinking about my favorite album covers. These are the first five that jumped out...

4. Megadeth - The System Has Failed
5. Venom - Black Metal

What was the original cover? I've only ever seen the PG one.

EDIT - Nevermind, I remember it now. YIKES!! My uncle had it on vinyl and it was very shocking.

Naked, clearly underage girl with what appears to be a "bullet hole through glass" covering her, umm, private area. That cover would probably get you arrested in some states...EDIT--I was writing this while you were editing your post. Yeah, it's amazing they got away with this cover. Maybe Germans aren't so worked up about this sort of thing.

Personally, I like the original cover of "Lovedrive", featuring the chick in the limosine with the bubble gum covering her tit. Weird, but interesting. The best cover on that general theme might be Whitesnake's "Lovehunter" album. Featuring a drawing of a shapely naked lady riding a giant snake. Subtle, but it works... [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Funkadelic--Maggot Brain

Note, these are all from the '70s--album cover art basically began to suck in the '80s, especially after the start of the cd era.
