Hey guys, just joined today. I'm a long-time and regular member at the Seymour Duncan Forum, and was told by Zerberus that this place is great, as well. I'm currently in the market for a Model 5 or 6, and am scouring eBay for one.
I'm 14 years old, but have been playing for 3. I primarily listen to extreme metal, favorite bands: Wintersun, Trivium, Opeth, At The Gates, Carcass, Necrophagist, Death, Nevermore, etc... I also enjoy Queen, Elton John, Satch, Vai, Petrucci, and a bit of Taking Back Sunday and the like. My musical tastes are fairly broad, but mainly focused in metal.
Current rig is a Schecter C-1 Stealth (JB/Jazz) and a Jackson DXMGT (JB/Evo) through a BOSS NS-2 and Peavey XXX head, into an old Fender 2x12 with Eminence V12 speakers.
I hope this forum will help in my everlasting quest for great tone!
