Hey, a local band that I know called Three Sixes actually got pretty far with that thing...check this out: it was for a freakin' reality show type thing! [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]
The contract/application they filled out stated it. The plan was for filming a reality TV show...how a band can make it onto Ozzfest and everything that they go through to get there. Sorta like a bad metal version of American Idol. [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img] Out of all the bands that were at the LA audition, only a few even looked like real bands. They said it was kinda sad. They interviewed well and their prep re: press kit / promo was completely professional. They didn't get called back, didn't even get a chance to play. When the smoke cleared figured out why. It pretty much came down to the last question that was asked: "So.....do you guys fight and argue a lot?". Three Sixes said "No". Wrong answer. "Apparently a bunch of drama queens being in a band together screaming at each other all of the time makes for better TV than a group of guys who don't, so we weren't called back" [img]/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img]
