I completely agree. I've been an admin on 2 different forums and if there was some fatal sever error we never lost more than a week or two tops. What really drives me nuts is that I can't make myself give $20 to a forum that has issues like this just so I can sell some stuff.

I didn't think we lost much that wasn't already known & posted about a bunch of times before, but I just noticed we lost dandea's thread about his prototype Model 6 from the '86 catalog, along with details about it straight from Grover. That was one of the cooler threads in a long time here.

Really? After being down 4+ days, I figured it wasn't coming back. And that actually didn't bother me a whole lot either.

I'm regretting my membership and I'm hesitant to even post anything anymore. I really just come here for the nostalgia. The lack of updates, changes or improvements is one thing, but losing nearly half a year's worth of content? Not acceptable, IMO.
