  • Big let down today

Went to the Ky State Fair in Louisville Ky today and had fun most of the day.
But do to threatening weather the Sebastian Bach /Cinderella out door show got cancelled.
Bad storm and tornado activity with high winds and lightening coming out of southern Indiana blew the whole show.
    So pissed right now.
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Better a cancelled show than people squashed like bugs in a collapsed stage. Unless it's a Dethklok show. Then it's the main goal.

Yeah the storm had some wicked cells and And I don't blame the venue for stopping the show.
As I was leaving the heavy rain and lightning started along with the high winds it was a bitch driving home.
Checked Sebastian Bach's twitter feed as I was leaving and he seemed bummed about the weather and apologized for the cancellation.
So neither band had anything to do with it.
It was the best thing to cancel the show.
I really wanted to catch the original Cinderella line up.

THe last time I saw Cinderella live they were great. That was many moons ago though. I think they were touring their 2nd album at the time.

That's cool to know that Cinderella is back and with all the original members to boot! Awesome! I'm glad that Tom Keifer got his voice back 'cos I read that he blew out his vocal cords awhile back.

I went up to Louisville with some friends. They have a band (Atomic Thrillride) and they were up at 93.1 The Fox radio for an interview promoting their new CD and show at Phoenix Hill tavern next Wed.
The radio guy started asking me questions and I said I'm just the roadie/guitar tech.
                          Last pic is:
John Naze guitar player on the left Shannon "the dude" radio guy and Scott Brothers super drummer on the right.

Glad to hear you're fine. Tornado weather is scary. Rapid pressure drops, black clouds... I'm glad I live in earthquake country.
