I had no idea that the photo was from a movie. And it stars Tadanobu Asano, who is one of my wife's favorite actors.

(perhaps not viewable outside of Japan, as there is a scene that shows a 15 year old girl naked as she gets tattooed)

He has also been in at least a couple of Takeshi Kitano's movies. As an aside to Endrik, although he is a film director and commentator now, he started out as a comedian, so to most Japanese he is still "Beat Takeshi" (his former stage name).
