I got my first "real" guitar a few months ago, a burnt cherry Soloist. The action is super low, which is kick ass, but it is so low that the E A and D to an extent have a buzz like they drank a fifth of Jack. I am NOT a tech by any stretch. What am I looking at? Truss adjstmnt? If so, is it counter clockwise or clockwise. Excuse my ignorance, I just never needed to do so and I don't want to mess up my prized Soloist.

Is the bridge currently parallel to the body? If it's tilted back a little, then making it parallel again may fix your problem. (You can quickly test this by tuning a little sharp until the bridge gets level, then see if you still have buzz).
Also, you're not downtuning are you?
Jay.

what about around the fifth fret!I know the old saying that the value of an opinion is generally inversely proportional to the strength with which it is held.
