HOt/Cool rails?

Cool Rails are more like a PAF humbucker. The Vintage Rails are like a single coil.

I think Cool rails are pretty good pickups and i do agree that they sound like PAF.

I had a Lil' '59er in my Model 1A for a time. It did the PAF sound very nicely.

I think that may be a better choice than either of the rail pickups for what he's going for.
