Just finished it up, worked like a charm. Never really used to use the middle position much before, but HOLY SHIT do these two pickups sound sick together! Almost like and 85 or something. Thanks again man.

These parameters, in particular the the size of the wire, influence the DC resistance according to Ohm's second law.

The output of a pickup is defined by the strength of the magnetic field, aka inductance, and DC resistance, for instance, the Custom Custom is wired like the Custom and the Custom 5, but weaker magnet, lower output...

Makes sense. Thanks. The Custom series is a good example to go by considering it's got the same gauge wire. Custom = ceramic magnet, Custom Custom = alnico II, Custom 5 = alnico 5.
