Good eye! That's not the original trem, probably also why the owner got a good deal on the guitar. The JS trems are shimmed so the ADGB saddles are higher to match the radius of the JS neck. If the trem in there doesn't have the shims, the saddle radius won't match the fingerboard radius, so it might not play as good as it could.
I didn't take this pic to illustrate the setup, but if you look at the fretboard, you'll get an idea just how nice the action is.
No buzz, no dead spots, and the radius looks and feels dead on to me.
Plays like butta.
If this guitar doesn't "play as good as it could", then I'm even more impressed.
