I see Fender style necks to fit both Fenders and Charvels for instance.
Fenders and Charvels have different neck heel sizes.
They are not exactly interchangeable. A Fender neck will fit on a Charvel body with some slop in the pocket and the other way around would require some wood working.
That explains the lime head. I didn't want to say anything to dump on someone's guitar creation, but I guess that's just a joke picture after all.
I see ads on eBay all the time for 'Fender licensed replacement necks designed for Fender and Charvel bolt on guitars' which 'will fit any standard 2-3/16th neck pocket'. Things like that led me to believe that there was alot more inter-company neck compatibility. You're saying you have work to do on those necks, or the bodies, to make them work. Do you know which way they fit naturally, ie do those type of necks fit naturally on a Fender, but need work to fit on a Charvel?

It's a misleading statement.
Charvels and Jacksons have a 2 1/4" neck pocket.
So yes, a Fender neck (or replacement neck) will technically fit.
It just won't be a snug fit. There will be an ugly ass gap.
Man, I really like the star with the cock dragon and jem neck! Is it for sale?
Oh yes! But you'll need to send cash (no GayPal)
