    I have the duncan tb4's tried the pups up and down . The regular stock height seems best at high volume.

        Gotta agree with this... if you have ever played a strat with staggered poles, you know they don't work well with effects pedals....if you like the high pup position...leave the screws flat (or as they were), they don't do much up close anyway....and like the others have said, angle the pickup to change the sound.
